Noel

Noel watched the others silently from under the brim of her hood. Her first reaction to stress was a deep breath and reminding herself that the calmer the mind, the easier it is to get out of a situation. She had seen it so many times with her father, she could be just as strong as him. But those cold fingers were creeping their way…[Read more]

Alright, I’m adding her @loopylin @whalekeeper!

Noel “Bwerdie” Mai

She has long, thick dark hair often in different braids, varying is quality. She has hazel eyes, and dusky skin with pale freckles. She’ll be wearing clothes reminiscent of a medieval era, except they’ll look more like men’s hunting clothes than the garb of a woman. The pants…[Read more]

Ru’Ethel (Ruth) Estrevell

Ya know it’s so rare that I see my name that it gets awkward every time. Especially when two of those times was about fictional characters who deserved the death penalty, one other I don’t want to even say (blocked the person so I’d never see that OC again), and some other awkward things.

The other really f…[Read more]

Sorry for the late reply. I made one, Wyoh ate it, so I got discouraged and waited.

There’s a flower that in floriography means “Danger, keep away.” They carry a neurotoxin in almost all parts of the plant called grayanotoxins. These toxins, when made into honey by bees that are strangely not affected by the poison, makes what is…[Read more]

I tried to post a rely to C-L-Speck and it didn’t post, instead giving me the message “Your reply is pending moderation” in a red box above the text box. It did this same thing when I was trying to make a topic earlier. Is it because they both had external links? (The reply had a link to WebMD as a source and the topic had a link to…[Read more]

@loopylin

They’re all so cute still! Plus the second one is a great example of how your anatomy has improved so much!

Been very tired and art blocked lately

Same honestly. I’ve been unhappy with everything I’ve done after the custom notebook cover (did I post that here, idr) which is crazy cuz that wasn’t stressful at all!

@whalekeeper

No, her real name is Noel. However, Gabriel almost always calls her Bwerdie so it carries over.

@loopylin

WHATTTTT!!! But it’s so cuteee!

From a perspective standpoint I really don’t get your hatred, but from an artist’s perspective that’s so relatable lolll.

@c-l-speck

Did you use markers for the recent one? Or paint?

Ohuhu Alcohol Markers. I absolutely love them!

Gabriel

He smiled. “Yes then, yes you can. You already have more than I when I was your age, so why not?” He sat next to her, grabbing a comic of his own. He still couldn’t read it, but he could pretend.

This is kinda funny watching now as Bwerdie starts off as an orphaned kid Gabriel’s taken in and ends…[Read more]

@loopylin

Lillian I think you mean?

Nope, not her.

@loopy @whalekeeper

I’ll introduce her once I’ve read all the RPs and drawn a satisfactory image I think.

@loopylin

I was looking at the old posts in this topic and found this:

No idea how interested you are in drawing her again, but I’m asking to see a redraw because she’s so cute! She and her space octopus should never be forgotten!

If you go way back in the Art Sharing for All topic, you’ll find where I first asked for help on how to stop drawing realistically. On the very next page is the drawing that started it all. (Also excuse my lack of prose then. I was 14 and I sounded like a little kid lol.)

I should redraw that one, shouldn’t I?

Versus a piece over a month ago:

@c-l-speck

but I’m trying to get into more animated-style artwork, because it takes way less time than realistic art, at least for me :’(

That is very relatable.

Gabriel

Gabriel pulled his arms closer to himself, as if trying to make himself smaller. “I was average in height for my village, but I was scrawny when I was younger. I only started building much strength by 12 or 13. Why?”

I’m considering adding a character in here to flesh her out.

To all of probably only 1-2 people who get this reference, she’s someone’s little Bwerdie.

@c-l-speck

The ice look could be explained as glass with imbedded etchings of snowflakes. Yes, it would probably be cold, but unless people are touching it, I doubt they’d catch on that something is very wrong with this item (which I assume is what you’re trying to do with this defying nature idea.)

What part of the current idea is the vibe…[Read more]

Are you into art and/or anime?

I have watched some anime. I like Bungo Stray Dogs (please read content warnings before considering watching it). However, I’d say I’m more into art in general.

Here’s the full piece from my pfp:

It was drawn for me as a birthday gift from a friend (not on KP currently, she’s busy with college rn.) The…[Read more]
